Community Squash Partnership Program
Join us in developing a pilot program where landowners with access to full sun, water, and a tractor are guided through the process of growing winter squash for the Stanwood Camano Food Bank. We will work with you to develop a comprehensive plan based on your individual needs and can help supply you with winter squash starts, fertilizer, and irrigation equipment.

FAQs
What is this program?
The Winter Squash Partnership Program is intended for landowners who wish to grow vegetables for the Stanwood Camano Food Bank and need free technical assistance setting up, planting, and harvesting. This is a pilot program and the number of spaces is very limited for this first year. Filling out the form does not guarantee a space in the program for 2026
Who can join?
The program is open to landowners with at least a quarter acre of airable land in a full sun location with access to a water source and a 30hp or greater tractor.
How do I sign up?
Read through the Community Squash Partnership Program Guidelines, use the irrigation calculator, and fill out the google form. We will get back to you when you have filled out the form to discuss your interest in the program and schedule a site visit.
Although we do not charge to be in the program, there are costs associated with irrigation and tractor use, which are not currently reimbursable.
Are there any fees?
