Use this Irrigation Calculator to estimate water needs using an overhead sprinkler system. The target water depth is preset to 10in, however, your needs may change depending on your soil type and the water needs of your crop. Simply input the square footage of the space you wish to irrigate to estimate your watering needs from May through September. You should adjust your irrigation if the rainfall amount is over .10 in in 24 hrs.
