Emmett Agnew
Emmett is a software professional, with experience in both finance and technology. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Finance degree from Seattle University.
He started his career in finance, working for an investment advisory firm in Seattle from 2012-2015. He then transitioned to software, working for an investment research software startup in Tacoma that was acquired by Nasdaq in 2018. He has been a senior software developer at Nasdaq for the past seven years.

Emmett started volunteering for Puget Sound Public Farms in 2024, and joined the board as treasurer in 2025. He also serves on the board of Camano Animal Shelter Association (CASA), and chairs their finance committee.
He moved to Camano Island in 2023. On most days, you can find him walking on the trail with his golden retriever, Pete, at one of the many local parks.
